I fell in love with cooking when I was a young girl in Brazil, working alongside my mother. She prepared everything from scratch, using only the freshest ingredients. My passion for the culinary arts only increased as I read cookbooks and took cooking classes from all over the world. I got married and moved to a farm in Eastern Oregon, finding new inspiration from farm-fresh ingredients. And the more I learned, the more I valued those early years at my mother's side. She taught me what no cookbook or class can teach: Home cooking, no matter where "home" may be, is born from the soul of the chef and nurtured with love.
